The last two years have been difficult for many people, and we at Annorlunda Books are no exception. As a tiny indie press, we did not have a lot of spare capacity, and the last two years have overwhelmed us. We have made the difficult decision to scale back operations. We will not be publishing any new books for the time-being and promotional activities will be infrequent.
As the publisher, this makes me very sad, but I know it is the right decision for me. Since this change affects my authors, too, I gave them the choice of whether or not to reclaim their rights, either in part or in full. Some have chosen to reclaim full rights, and I will be taking their books off sale and reverting their rights to them before the end of the year. If you want to own an Annorlunda Books edition of:
- Don’t Call It Bollywood, by Margaret Redlich
- Okay So, Look, by Micah Edwards
- Here’s the Deal, by Micah Edwards
- The Boy Who Was Mistaken for a Fairy King, by HL Fullerton
Now is the time to buy it! These books will go off sale soon.
It has been an honor to publish these wonderful books, and I can’t wait to see what the authors do next.
All other books will remain on sale, and I will continue to pay royalties as usual. Please do continue to support these authors and buy their books! I love all of the books I publish, and will try to continue to promote them when my bandwidth permits it.
Finally, thank you to all of the readers who have bought my books over the years. I celebrated every sale, and I hope you enjoyed the books as much as I did!
